KV wins the Kankakee Valley Wrestling Super Duals

On 12/27/19 KV host an 8 team super dual wrestling meet. KV became the Champions going 5-0 on the day. Kankakee Valley Athletes of the week for week of January 28th!

The male athlete of the week for January 28th through February 2nd is Junior wrestler Aiden Sneed. Last week Aiden performed at the Crown Point IHSAA wrestling sectional and placed first in the 170 lb. weight class. Kankakee Valley Sectional Wrestling Results!

This past weekend the KV wrestling team competed in the Crown Point Sectional.  Kankakee Valley had 7 wrestlers advance to this Saturday’s Crown Point Regional.  Congratulations to Aiden Sneed, 170 lb. Sectional Champion!  Also advancing were Austin Motyka(106), Michael Denvit(113), Henry Hase(120), Tyler Tillema(145), Alex Gronkiewicz(160), and Beau DeYoung(182).

Kankakee Valley Athletes of the Week for 12/3-12/8

The male athlete of the week is freshman wrestler Austin Motyka. In the 106 lb weight class Austin went 5-1 (with 5 pins) this week in a dual meet against Benton Central and at the Merrillville Invite, to help lead the Kougars to an overall record of 13-4.
