JV Kougars fall to the Panthers 7-6

On the second night of conference play the visiting kougars couldn’t come back to secure the win. The panthers scored first by plating 2 runs in the bottom of the first. The kougars put 1 run up in the top of the second but gave 2 more back to the panthers in the bottom of

JV Kougars defeat Panthers 4-2

On the first day of conference play the Kougars hosted the Griffith Panthers. The panthers opened up the scoring in the top of the third by scoring 1 run on an error. In the bottom of the third the kougars answered back by plating 4 runs of their own. The panthers scored one more time

JV Kougars defeat Bombers 17-14

KV 1 Lowell 10

KV played Lowell at Lowell on Monday but came up short.  The Kougars got good pitching from Zach Fox but made a few errors that they could not overcome.  The Kougars scored there only run in the top of the 4th inning.  Wes Lewis scored the run after being walked, stealing second and being advanced

KV 7 Mooresville 10

The Kougars lost a tough one to Mooresville in the final game of the KV Klassic on Saturday afternoon.  The game was tied after 2 but the Kougars in 2 separate innings could not score runs with the bases loaded.  The Kougars played well.  KV was led in hitting by: Jake Jones 2 for 4

Griffith tops KV in 7 innings

Griffith traveled to KV on Tuesday afternoon to take on the host Kougars who eventually lost 2-12.  Zach Fox started pitching for the Kougars and did a good job giving up 4 runs (2 earned) through 5 innings.  Griffith hitters were too much for the Kougars as they scored 8 more times in the final

Kougars lose to Griffith in 5 innings

On Monday afternoon the Kougars traveled to Griffith to play.  Unfortunately for the Kougars Griffith was ready to play beating them 10-0 in 5 innings.  Michael Popp had the only hit for the Kougars which was a double in the left center gap.  The Kougars will host Griffith on Tuesday April 7th at 5pm.

Kougars 5 Calumet 2
