Kankakee Valley Kougars Varsity fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 14-3 loss to Hobart on Monday. Hobart scored on a single by Ryan Earp, a stolen base by Brock Cooper, and a groundout by Jaden Deel in the first inning.
The Kankakee Valley Kougars Varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Hobart, giving up 14 runs.

Schultz made the most plays with six. Hobart stole eight bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Earp led the way with three.
