The KV Junior Varsity football team traveled to Twin Lakes on Monday night and got another win to move to 3-0 on the season. In the first quarter the Kougars scored on runs by Jack Lamka and Logan Parks. In the second quarter Lamka continued his hard running to find the end zone for his second touchdown. Then Myles Turpin hit the Twin Lakes quarterback to force a fumble that was recovered by Luke Richie. The Kougars capitalized on the turnover with a touchdown pass from Eli Deardorff to Nolan Gronkiewicz. Parks started off the third quarter with a 56 yard touchdown run. On the following possession Caleb Deardorff picked off a Twin Lakes pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown. In the fourth quarter Max Lustig had long runs to set up Eli Deardorff for a touchdown on a quarterback keeper. Evan Misch was 7 for 7 on extra points.
Defensively the Kougars were dominant all night to get their third shutout in a row. Leaders on defense were Caleb Solomey, Max Griffey, Lustig, and Gronkiewicz.
