On Saturday January 9th, the Boys Freshman team played in the Consolation Game of the Plymouth “C” Team Tournament, where they faced Lewis Cass. After losing a hard fought game to Fort Wayne South in the opening round, the Kougars came out a bit slow in this game, ending the first quarter tied at 6. However, the second and third quarters were all KV, outscoring Lewis Cass 11-6 in the second quarter and 18-11 in the third quarter. The Kougars maintained that double digit lead throughout the fourth quarter to win 43-33, capturing 3rd Place in the tourney.

Carter Hill and Jake Anderson led KV by scoring 10 points each.
