Athletes of the Week for Sept. 29th-Oct. 4th

The Female Athlete of the Week is sophomore cross country runner Brittany Kent.  Brittany recently earned  All Northwest Crossroads Conference First Team honors with a top ten finish in last Saturday’s  NCC meet held at Lowell High School.  Her time of 21:07 placed her ninth overall.  She has led this young lady Kougar team all season

On a nasty weather day, not fit for man nor beast, sophomore Brittany Kent ran an outstanding, courageous race at the NCC championship meet.  Showing she is among the area’s best, Kent was sitting in 11th, heading into the final stretch through the woods.  She blasted by two runners before the finish, grabbing 9th place

Boys’ CC nabs highest conference finish in years

The Male Athlete of the Week is senior football player Noah Lane.  Noah was instrumental in the Kougars 41-13 win over North Judson on Friday Night.  He lead the team with 14 tackles and also ran an interception back 55 yards for a touchdown.  Congratulations, Noah!
