KVMS 7th Grade Football Season Recap

KVMS 8th Grade vs. Logansport 8th Grade

The 8th grade Kougars lost their last game Tuesday night to Logansport. The Kougars played hard and had many good plays but it wasn’t enough to hold on against the Berries. KVHS vs Munster(Senior Night)

Tonight’s JV and C Team games will now start at 5:30 p.m instead of 5:00 p.m.  Players need to arrive by 4:30.  Senior night festivities will be held prior to the start of the Varsity game. Hope to see you there!

Athletes of the Week Oct. 5th-10th!

The Male Athlete of the Week is senior football player Jimmy Elliott. Jimmy had an outstanding game vs Highland as he rushed for 162 yards, had 14 tackles, one touchdown, and a key pass knockdown. Additionally, he was acknowledged by the official for having outstanding sportsmanship during the entire game. Congratulations, Jimmy !        

KV Sectional and Regional Information

It is that time of year and the IHSAA tournaments are underway!  So far it has been a pretty good fall for the Kougars!  The girls soccer team beat crown point in the sectional championship this past Saturday 2-1.  They will play this Wed. Oct 14th at 7:00 in Valparaiso against Lake Central.  Games will

KV JV vs. Highland JV-10/10/15

In a game that was defined as a “tail of two halves”, our Junior Varsity Kougars came up a bit short at Highland Saturday morning, 14-13. We were down 14-0 at the end of the first half, but fought back to make it 14-13 and a chance to win the game with a 2 point

Four Lady Kougar Cross Country Runners Advance to Regional as Individuals

KV’s girls’ cross country team had their best meet of the year at Saturday’s sectional.  Although their 7th place team finish with 154 points vs. better competition than last year, did not advance as a team, it was favorable in comparison to 2014.  They did however advance 4 individual runners to regional this year, twice
