2014 Athletes of the Week!

Week of August 18-23rd. The Male Athlete of the Week is junior tennis player Trevor Wiesemann.  Trevor defeated Rensselaer at #3 singles 6-0, 6-0 giving KV tennis their first win of the season.  Trevor has always been a hard working player that sets a good example for his teammates, and is always improving.  Congratulations, Trevor!

KV AND HOBART at GRIFFITH (Tuesday, September 16, 2014) OAK RIDGE PRAIRIE Griffith’s course is a Oak Ridge Prairie Park, located south of the Griffith-Merrilville airport.  After polling several people and trying two routes on the bus, the best route appears as follows: I65 to 61st street (first interchange north of Hwy 30).  Turn left (west). 

Boys’ CC finishes midpack

The KV boys’ cross country team finished mid-pack in Lowell’s Bob Thomas cross country Invitational, on Saturday, September 13, 2014.  The NCC’s Munster team dominated with 39 points to LaPorte’s 65.  LaPorte and the DAC grabbed the five team finishes.  KV finished 9th with 248, close behind NCC rivals Highland (239) and Lowell (248).
