Saturday afternoon, the KV Lady Kougars varsity basketball team defeated Hammond Morton at home 69-23.  Junior, Taylor Schoonveld led the way with 16 points, 4 assists and 5 steals.  Sophomore, Lilly Toppen added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.  Sophomore, Abby Grandchamp chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals.  Sophomore, Colby Sizemore contributed 8 points.  The Lady Kougars improve to 7-6.  The Kougars next play Tuesday at home against conference foe, Highland.
