Valparaiso this year finished 7th overall in their conference at the championship meet, and 22nd overall at the Great Lakes Regional. They did however have one runner set a new school record in the 8k, and 10k in Cross Country, and earn 1st team all conference honors. The Cross Country team also upheld a strong tradition by earning the Division 1 team All-Academic award this year. They finished 8th overall in their conference indoor championship this year.
Celebrating with Cameron on his day of signing were several members of the boys & girls cross country team, his mom, sister, coach Lewallen and coach Adams. Good luck with the rest of your track season and good luck next year as a crusader!
