Kougars News · Boys’ cross country breaks into top 10 at Lowell


Kankakee Valley High School’s boys’ cross country team placed 8th out of 21 teams at the Bob Thomas Invitational at Lowell High School on Saturday, September 9, 2018.  Host Lowell won followed by Chesterton, Crown Point, and Lake Central.

Senior Cameron Sheehy nudged junior Ethan Tillema at the line in 17:13, PR times for both.  The runners were 24th and 25th respectively out of a field of 157.  Micah Adams placed 42nd in 17:42, the second best time of his career.
