KVHS Boys Golf travelled to Curtis Creek to participate in the Rensselaer Invite on Saturday 5-6-17. Even with one man down with sickness the team showed up to play. Nathan Hudecek filled the vacant spot for the Kougars and came in with a respectful 97 score. The rest of the team shot at or just a shot or two above their averages which encourages us heading into conference play. Trent Walstra shot a P.R. of 77 and finished in second place overall by only one shot. I’m really proud of the team today playing in 20-30 MPH winds and with cooler temperatures they stayed focused. Ted Tobias, Cameron Hemphill & Derek Kaluf. Our next match will be against Lowell at Sandy Pines on Tuesday the 9th.
