Game Recap

The Lady Kougars got a big win at Crown Point. Kv came out strong in first quarter leading 16-8 at the end of the first. The Bulldogs responded in the second quarter out scoring the Kougars 11-8 to go into the half only down 3 with a halftime score of 22-19 in favor of the visiting Kougars. The Lady Kougars came out of the locker room with some fire picking it up on the defensive end, holding the home team to only 2 points in the third. The lady Kougars kept the pressure on the rest of the game to go on to win big. Not only did the Kougars play great defense they did a great job in transition looking for the open girl. Which led to balanced scoring having 5 players scoring 8 points or more. The Lady Kougars again made more freethrows then their opponent going 10-16 from the line and only allowing C.P to shoot 5. Scoring for the Kougars M. Flick-13, S. Martin-10, K. Webster-9 I. Solomey-8 and C. Sizemore -8. Freshman Lady Kougars are now 12-0 on the season and will play Chesterton Monday Dec 19 at 4:30 at home.
