Girls Middle School Cross Country, Girls Varsity Cross Country · KVMS Cross Country Continues Terrific Season!


The KVMS powerhouse cross country teams, coached by Jen Geiselman and Will Oates, continued to excel, defeating West Central in both races last night.  The girls, led by 8th grade stand-out Abby Robinson’s 1st place time of 13:46, achieved a rare perfect score, defeating West Central 15-70.  Robinson was followed by classmates Sam Martin-2nd in 13:50 and Shelby Flick-3rd in 14:17. A trio of swift 6th graders followed: Blythe Campbell-4th in 14:18, Juliana Barlog-5th in 14:40 and Emilee Wilson-6th in 14:41.  Alexis Culbreth was 8th in 14:46, Taylor DeBoard-9th in 14:47, Elise Kasper-10th in 15:33 and Jessica Donovan-11th in 15:44.  The boys were victorious with a fine score of just 18 points, WC’s boys did not have 5 runners.  Veteran 8th grade stand-out Micah Adams blasted home 1st in a time of 11:42, with classmate Dean Schmidt right behind in 2nd-11:43.  WC was 3rd, with KV taking 4th -11th places:  6th grader Justin Hoffman-4th in 12:36, 6th grader Tommy Jones-5th in 13:42, Noah Fry-6th in 13:51, 6th grader Trent Gideon-7th in 13:52, 6th grader Ayden Allen-8th in 14:05, Austin Garrison-9th in 14:19, 6th grader Trent Thomas-10th in 14:24 and 6th grader Dezmyn Abbring-11th in 14:31 were KV’s top 10 boys.  Congratulations to both teams and keep up the great work!
